Rhododendron "Professor Scholz" (Rhododendron 'Professor Scholz') is an evergreen ornamental shrub that is famous for its abundant flowering of creamy-yellow flowers from May to the end of June. The bush is compact, 1.3–1.5 m high and wide (sometimes more), with thick shoots and glossy dark green leaves, frost-resistant (up to -34∘C), ideal for small gardens and parks.
Flowering: Long, abundant, late (from May to June/July). The flowers are collected in large spherical inflorescences, the color is creamy yellow with a darker pattern inside.
Crown and leaves: Compact, dense crown with thick, powerful shoots. The leaves are large (up to 15 cm), elliptical, shiny, dark green.
Size: An adult bush reaches about 1.5 m in height and width.
Growing conditions: Prefers fertile, loose, acidic soil. Needs semi-shady places protected from the wind.
